Welcome To Saint Raphael Preschool!

Mission Statement

Saint Raphael Preschool, admined in the Dominican tradition, is committed to partnering with parents in the spiritual, physical, emotional, psychological, academic, and intellectual development of young children. The Preschool provides a safe environment where children can further their awareness of God’s love and creation through informal and formal interaction with adults and other children. The Preschool supports the growth of the whole child by offering a variety of opportunities to each child.

Saint Raphael Preschool — Gem of Marin

Welcome to Saint Raphael Preschool. We opened our school in 2004, and expanded in 2009. We serve families with children who are three to five years old. We have graduated over 250 students who have progressed on to Saint Raphael Elementary School (est. 1889) and nearby public schools. Many of our families consider us the Gem of Marin! We welcome you to learn more about our school and call for a tour.

We are located in central San Raphael on the campus of Saint Raphael Elementary School and Mission San Raphael. We are a very short distance from highway 101 and our families appreciate our convenient location and extended care flexibility.

Dominican University invited Saint Raphael to consider opening a preschool when the Garden school closed in the summer of 2004. That connection to Dominican University is present on the campus today. Dominican University undergraduate students can often be found working with children on the campus under the direct supervision of teachers.

We are licensed by the State of California.

What parents say

St. Raphael Preschool provides a strong academic and religious foundation in a nurturing environment. I am the mother of two children who each attended St. Raphael Preschool for 2 years. As an educator myself, I found the curriculum to be a fantastic preparation for Kindergarten. My children enjoyed every day learning and building friendships.”
